I'm Gabriel Ashkinadze, an event technical director working across venues in Montréal. My work sits at the intersection of design and operations: I don't just spec a lighting rig or an audio system, I make sure the right technicians are booked, confirmed, and on-site to run it.
That operational side — keeping a roster of technicians scheduled, confirmed, and informed across a full season of events — is a core part of how AshGTech runs, including direct SMS-based scheduling and dispatch with technical crews.
A straightforward process from first contact to load-out.
We talk through the venue, the show, and what the room needs technically — lighting, audio, or both.
I put together the technical plan: equipment, layout, and the crew required to run it.
Technicians are scheduled and confirmed ahead of the event, with reminders and day-of coordination handled directly.
On-site technical direction to make sure lighting and audio execute as planned, start to finish.
